THE PERSONAL BIO

After a two decade career as a software developer and consultant, I took a sabbatical to the Cayman Islands in 2014, exhausted from the corporate grind and determined not to go back to hot desking across the globe.

To keep entertained, I picked up a fun, yet transformational, part-time hobby; collaborating with other developers to help restructure their online businesses with the sole intent to sell them to online business acquirers.

It didn’t take long to find myself on the other side of the equation with a deep-dive into the niche world of digital business acquisitions.

What started with the purchase of a small Amazon Affiliate site in 2014, led to the next decade of managing a seven-figure portfolio of e-commerce, SaaS, content, and advertising businesses that I’ve acquired since that very short-lived sabbatical.

Today, as an author, speaker, and consultant, I’m on a mission to free engineers from the disillusionment of traditional employment and educate them on how digital acquisitions can – and maybe should – be their next career evolution.
